Wildcat Hockey will call MQ Iceplex’s Arena Rink home — expanding to include Men’s Division I & II ACHA, Women’s Division I ACHA, and adaptive sled hockey. With a 3,000-seat arena and premium fan experiences, plus dedicated training and locker facilities, MQ Iceplex will be the true home for Arizona Hockey. The rink will also host student intramurals, broomball, open skates, and campus events.
MYHockey Tournaments
MQ Iceplex will partner with MYHockey Tournaments, the premier Tier II organizer in the U.S., to host nationally marketed youth tournaments. The facility will host several events annually bringing teams and families from across the country and driving significant economic impact for Tucson.
Junior Roadrunners
The Junior Roadrunners will serve as MQ Iceplex’s official house league, expanding access for youth hockey across Southern Arizona. With room to add 280 players annually, the program is designed to reach 1,500 players and 10–12 teams per age group within a decade. Supported by the Mosaic Foundation, the league ensures underserved children can play through high school.
Tucson Adult Hockey League (TAHL)
The Tucson Adult Hockey League will anchor adult programming at MQ Iceplex, offering full A, B, C, D, 30+, 40+, and 50+ leagues across all three rinks. With consistent ice time and year-round schedules, TAHL will be able to add 100+ new players annually through MQ Learn to Play programs, and will launch a women’s division in 2028, expanding opportunities for adults at every level.
TMC Health
TMC Health, in partnership with Tucson Orthopaedic Institute, will serve as the official sports medicine provider, staffing all events with certified athletic trainers. A 20,000-sq. ft. on-site medical center will extend urgent care, imaging, physical therapy, and orthopaedic services to athletes and the broader community.
Tucson Orthopaedic Institute
Tucson Orthopaedic Institute, in partnership with TMC Health, will provide on-site injury assessment, treatment, and orthopaedic expertise. Together they will staff the MQ Sports Medicine Center, ensuring athletes and residents have direct access to specialized orthopaedic care.
Pima Community College
Pima Community College will partner with Mosaic Quarter to provide workforce training in sports injury management and sports medicine at the MQ Iceplex. In collaboration with Pima JTED, TMC Health, and Tucson Orthopaedic Institute, PCC students will gain hands-on experience supporting certified athletic trainers—preparing them for future careers in sports medicine and healthcare.
Pima JTED
Pima JTED will partner with Mosaic Quarter, Pima Community College, TMC Health, and Tucson Orthopaedic Institute to provide workforce training in sports medicine at the MQ Iceplex. Through supervised internships, students will gain hands-on experience supporting athletes during events—preparing them for future careers in sports medicine and healthcare
